Branding the network as uniquely you is one of the most important things you can do and weve made it super easy. Simply go to Admin - Customize - Appearance to find all the tools to customize your network.
First and foremost, upload a header that represents your brand. You can create a header using your favorite image editing software. I've used photoshop here to create an image. I'll save it, and upload it into my network. The dimensions for this is 985 pixels wide by 130 pixels tall. By default, the title and tagline I chose when I first created my network shows in the header. Because I'm uploading a custom header, I'll want to turn this off.
Now I can repeat the same thing with background. Find or create a background that fits your group and upload it here. I'll upload some fireworks - because they're cool.
Lastly, choose the colors that match your unique brand. Weve gotten you started with some themes, but feel free to pick your own here. Lets save.
Another thing we can do is to customize the top navigations links. Go to navigation tab to do this. For example, I might want members to go to my blog or possibly add a link to a partners site. I'll add a link to my main site: seattleaccountants.com. The real power of the tab manager comes coupled with the Custom Pages which is explained in detail in the Custom Page video.
Great, you now have a network looking exactly how you want. Your members will love it.
